Rife, 65, is moving to a retirement community on the mainland.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have been very blessed in life and I\u2019d like to give something back,\u201d he said. \u201cI don\u2019t need the assets from the sale of the property. I decided to donate the house and land so someone who has not been as fortunate as I have can have a home.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Rife house will become OPAL\u2019s seventh scattered-site dwelling, joining other individual properties in Olga and Eastsound.
