Kidder Way is Under Construction<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

OPAL started construction on 10 new townhomes to provide homeownership for Orcas Islanders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project is made possible by financial support from hundreds of islanders\u2019 donations, the Orcas Island Community Foundation, Enterprise Community Foundation, the San Juan County Home Fund, Washington State\u2019s Housing Trust Fund, and the Washington State Connecting Infrastructure with Housing Program (CHIP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prospective purchasers of the townhomes have been in OPAL\u2019s applicant pool for three to four years and work on island in manufacturing, building trades, retail and health care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Location<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Kidder Way property is in a great location. Situated next to the medical center, Island Primary Care \u2013 Orcas, it’s about a half mile from the center of Eastsound and within easy walking distance to the public school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
