Construction is scheduled to be completed by the end of November, and buyers will begin moving in after the first of the year.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new neighborhood will be home to 14 adults and six children. It is OPAL\u2019s first ownership construction project in more than a decade. Purchasers have been in OPAL\u2019s applicant pool for four to eight years and work on the island in customer service, building trades, teaching, retail, and healthcare.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This effort was made possible thanks to hundreds of private donations, as well as county and state funding, along with the mortgage financing obtained by each owner.
