To be eligible to rent an OPAL Reddick apartment, you must be…
1. Income eligible.
Five OPAL apartment units are available to applicants earning up to 50% of Area Median Income (AMI) and two are available to those earning up to 65% of AMI.

2. A San Juan County resident.
Applicants must have been San Juan County residents for at least three years prior to occupancy of an OPAL rental unit (the three years need not be the last three consecutive years). Exceptions will be made if there is no one on the waiting list interested in a particular unit. Only one member of a household must meet the residency requirement.
3. Able to provide landlord verification and references.
References must indicate a likelihood of success as a tenant and must reflect an ongoing ability to pay rent.
4. Able to provide:
- Verification of employment
- Local business/utility references
- Local personal references
- A criminal check
- A credit check
- An application fee to cover the cost of the credit check.
